Project Overview:

This mission trip represents a collaborative effort between the SEC Teens/Youth ministries and the community of Divo, aiming to:

Renovate key community facilities: this includes a library, classroom block, nursery, canteen, and hosting a health expo to foster education and holistic well-being.

Conduct outreach programs: sharing the love of Christ and providing support to underprivileged families through acts of kindness and prayer.

Build meaningful connections: strengthen relationships with the local community and create a bridge of compassion, cultural understanding, and spiritual growth.

This mission embodies the core values of our church—service, discipleship, and the fulfilment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). It is a unique opportunity to witness and participate in the transformative power of faith in action.

Proverbs 19:17: Whoever brings blessings will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.

The SEC Teens have been honoured to support the evangelism efforts in Divo, Côte d’Ivoire, in collaboration with the SEC Youth Department.

Funding:
To ensure the success and accessibility of his mission trip, the SEC Teens department has initiated a fundraising effort by selling tour Teens’ ministries hoodies. These funds aim to support our young people who are committed to this impactful journey. In addition to our efforts, we kindly request that your local church boards financially support each attendee with a £300 donation. This amount aids in covering essential expenses, including transportation, accommodation, meals and materials needed for the community project.

We also encourage all participants to embark on their fundraising campaign to aid in the collective fund for the trip, including:
– GoFundMe campaigns
– Musical Concerts
– Selling of Teens’ hoodies (£20 per hoodie – £7 towards attendee/£13 towards trip)
– Local Area Funds
– Sponsorships

NOTE: This is not a holiday. All attendees are required to support this mission trip in various capacities. Please do not attempt to register if you intend not to engage in manual project support.
